Hadley CME Church, 922 Stewart Rd., Thomasville at 5 p.m., Nov. 30 is holding a worship service featuring the youth in singing, praise dance, piano recitals and readings.



Banquet

New Zion Church of God in Unity is holding a banquet at 6 p.m., Saturday at the Concerned Citizens Community Center in Boston. The speaker is Gwendolyn Smallwood and tickets are $15.



Anniversary

Usher Ministries One and Two  of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Boston are celebrating their anniversaries at 3 p.m., Sunday. The guest church is Lassac CME.



Screening

Bethany Congregational UCC Parish Nurse Ministry is holding a free blood pressure and blood sugar screening from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday in the church annex.

Gatlin Creek Baptist Church, 2031 Gatlin Creek Rd., is holding a manna drop featuring a Thanksgiving meal, gospel music and more at 11 a.m., Saturday.



Special day

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating family and friends day at 11 a.m., Sunday. The speaker is Ossie Revels and the colors are brown, orange and ivy. Dinner will be served and the public is cordially invited to attend this occasion, according to the pastor, the Rev. Curnell Henry.
