Annual day

The Silver Hill MB Church will observe its annual Family and Friends Day at 11 a.m., on Sunday. The Rev. Gerald Massey, Zion Baptist Church, Marietta, is the speaker.


Hadley CME Church, 244 Stewart Rd., is celebrating its 147th anniversary at 2 p.m., Sunday. The Rev. German is the speaker. Dinner will be served.


Midnight Encounter Praise, Preparation and Worship service in collaboration with Valentine Make-A-Wish Outreach Program for preteen girls, teen girls and women will be held 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., Friday at Restoration Tabernacle Ministries. Speakers are Hanna Mae Edwards and Minister Ivy Springer from Atlanta and special musical guest Heavenly Harmony from Lakeland, Fla. Childcare will be available.


Richland Missionary Baptist Church, Five Forks Road, Boston, is holding Men and Women Day at 11 a.m., Sunday. Elder Patricia Jones from Unity Church of God in Valdosta is the speaker. Women are asked to wear white and men wear dark attire. Dinner will be after the program, according to church pastor, the Rev. Henry L. Mathis Jr.


Cedar Hill M.B. Church is holding a deacon and deaconess program at 11:30 a.m., Sunday. Sweet Hill M.B. Church is in charge of the service.


Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church is hosting the Thomas County-Thomasville City Wide Fellowship at 3 p.m., Sunday. Beulah Missionary Baptist Church and the Rev. Roscoe Smith are in charge.


Usher Board No. 3 of First Missionary Baptist Church is holding a 60th honor anniversary at 3 p.m., Sunday. All city and county usher boards will be honored. The Rev. Roderick L. Elzy, son of the late Wilma E. Taylor, is the speaker.
