THOMASVILLE — Ministry team

Hilltop Bible Baptist Church, 110 17th Ave, N. W., Cairo, is holding a unique worship experience presented by a Proclaim Ministry Team from Pensacola Christian College.

Through inspirational music presentations, stirring dramatic selections, testimonies, lighthearted skits, a message from God’s word, and a short video presentation, the team will share encouragement and energy with you.

At 6  p.m., Saturday, the church will have a taco buffet followed by a special program presented to children and teens.

On Sunday morning, the team will encourage and inspire adults of all ages from 10 a.m. to noon. A covered dish meal will be served in the fellowship hall at noon.

 Mt. Pilgram Baptist Church is holding a Sunday morning worship service at 11 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 26. The Rev. Spencer Wilson is the speaker.


Lassac C.M.E. Church, located on Parramore Fishpond Road, will observe its 14th Usher’s Anniversary.  The Rev. Emory Hopkins and Trinity M.B. Church of Boston will be in charge of the 2:30 p.m., service.


First Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 1806 Fletcher St., is holding its annual women’s day program at 11 a.m., Sunday. The speaker is Debra O’Neal of First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church. Colors are red and black and dinner will be served afterwards.


New Covenant Church, the corner of US 19 N and 84 Bypass (48 Patterson Still Spur East, Thomasville), is holding a church rummage sale in our Armstrong Outreach Center from 7 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Feb. 1.

All proceeds will benefit "There is Hope" Single Moms a ministry of New Covenant Church.


Saint John AME Church of Boston is holding a one night revival at 6 p.m., Sunday. Senior pastor the Rev. John Foster and Big Bethel AME Church of Atlanta is in charge.
