— Revival

Dr. John Collier will be the guest speaker for revival services at East Side Baptist Church, 220 Colton Ave.  It begins Sunday and continues through Wednesday.

The Sunday services will be at 9:45  and 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.   Monday through Wednesday services will begin at 7 p.m.

A nursery is available and all services are interpreted for the hearing impaired.

Annual day

Aucilla M.B. Church will is holding its annual Family and Friends day on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. Pastor William Cason and the Centennial M.B. Church family are in charge of the services.


The missionaries of Pleasant Hill CME are holding their annual  candlelight service at 3 p.m., Sunday. Mrs. Rosia Carter, wife of the Presiding Prelate Kenneth Carter of the Six Episcopal District of Georgia, is the speaker. The church is located on Ga. Hwy. 93, South in Beachton.

Manna drop

Coolidge Baptist Church, 2068 E. Verbena St., Coolidge. is holding a Manna Drop for anyone who has a need from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday. For information,  call Mike Keown at 229-224-4205.


The members of Faith Temple Church, 231 Legion Blvd SW, Cairo are holding a March Madness Revival March 14-15 at 7 p.m. and March 16 at 11 a.m.  The guest evangelist is Pastor Kevin Williams of True Praise Family Worship Center, Miami Fla.

Plate sale

Immanuel Temple Church of God in Christ is holding a plate sale today from 11 a.m., until  to benefit the church building fund. The members are serving pork chops, collards, macaroni and cheese, corn muffins and cake.


Kappa Alpha Psi is holding a prayer breakfast at 8:30 a.m., Saturday at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. The speaker is the Rev. Arthur Jones III. Tickets are $5 and available at the door.

Annual day

Sweetfield M.B. Church is holding its annual family and friends day at 11:30 a.m., Sunday. Dinner follows.
