New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating its pre-anniversary at 7 p.m., today through Sunday. The Rev. Henry Davis is the guest speaker, along with various churches on program.

At 11 a.m., Nov. 10, members will celebrating their fifth church anniversary with the Rev. Leon Jones & Mercy Seat Christian Church.


Family & Friends Full Gospel Baptist Church is hosting “The Four Gospel Writers” program, at 6 p.m., Saturday.

The spokesman representing the Gospel Writers will be the Rev. Michael Burns, Rev. Robbie Mickens, Rev. Maurice Miller and Rev. Tim White.


Family & Friends Full Gospel Baptist Church is holding its annual Fall Harvest Concert through Songs at 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9.

Feature guests are  Minister Christopher D. Whitehead and Singers, of Crawfordville, Fla. and the Blooming Light Choir of Pelham; Apostle Sharon D. Edwards, Pastor of the New Faith Horizon International Ministries, and the Fresh Firer Dancers of Albany; Elder Linda A. Bradley, Pastor of the Zion Christian Outreach Ministries, of Thomasville; and Deacon Damon Graham of the First Missionary Baptist Church, of Thomasville and others

Attendees are asked to bring canned goods, dry goods or a non-perishable items to donate a food basket for a needy family in the community during the holidays.


Good Shepherd Episcopal Church is holding a Good Shepherd Jazz Festival from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday at 519 Oak St. Bring a picnic supper, lawn chairs and blankets. Beverages will be available. Admission is $10.


St. James CME Church is holding its annual fall revival at 7 p.m., Nov. 5-7. Various choirs will perform and the speaker is the Rev. Anthony Choice.


Richland M.B. Church is celebrating its 37th choir anniversary at 6 p.m., Nov. 9.


Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Outreach Ministry is celebrating its anniversary at 6 p.m., Saturday. The Rev. Charles Jackson is the speaker.


New Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church is holding its annual pastor and church anniversary celebration at 3 p.m., Sunday. Services continue at 7 p.m., Monday through Nov. 8. It concludes at 11 a.m., and 3 p.m., Nov. 10.
