Cedar Hill M.B. Church is holding a black history program at 11:30 a.m., Sunday. The speaker is the Rev. Tommy Hill.


The senior choir of New Olive Grove Church is celebrating their anniversary at 3 p.m., Sunday. The guest choir is from East Grove Church in Woodville, Fla.


Evergreen Congregational UCC is celebrating 103 years with two services on Sunday. At 11 a.m., with the Rev. Martha Carter speaking and at 3 p.m., is Elder Mack Davis II.


St. Mark AME Church, 700 Lester St., is holding its annual Sister Lloyd Hall Perkins Founder’s Day breakfast at 9 a.m., Sunday. The members of the Young People Department will perform a play, The Cost of Freedom, in honor of Richard Allen, the founder of the AME church.


Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Boston is celebrating its deacons and deaconess anniversary at 3 p.m., Sunday. Mt. Hope M.B. Church of Quitman is in charge and the Rev. Delvin Boatman is the speaker.
