Anniversary

Trinity CME Church is celebrating its 131st anniversary at 3 p.m., Sunday. The speaker is the Rev. Nathaniel Bush.

Program

An appreciation program for the Rev. Terry Scott and his wife, Veronia is at 3 p.m., Saturday at New Generation Christian Center, 1217 Old Albany Rd. The speaker is the Rev. Estell Arrington.

Services

Daughter of Zion Bible Center Ministry is holding holy week services beginning at 7 p.m., Tuesday through April 18. On Tuesday is Pastor Lonnie Robinson Jr. and Aucilla Church, Wednesday  is Pastor James Randall and Cross Road Bible Ministry Church, Thursday is the seven last words of Jesus on the cross with Jakerra Morrow and April 18 is Nia E. Robinson.

Supper

The 24th ham and egg supper, benefiting Cedar Grove Cemetery, is 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the Chitterling Barn on the Swine Time grounds in Climax. For $8 donation, you can eat there and take out. For information, call 246-0910.

Program

Springhill Missionary Baptist Church is holding a fellowship program at 3 p.m., Sunday,  the Rev. Horace Holloway and the Crossroad Christian Center is in charge of the service.

Event

Providence Missionary Baptist Church Mission Statement is: “To Glorify God, Magnify Christ and to Help Somebody”. In helping to carry out this statement, the Providence Missionary Department will have a Gifts of Love Day from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday.Many items will be given away, such as clothing, shoes, household goods, etc. It will be at Providence M. B. Church, 1215 Magnolia St., and is sponsored by The Clara Majors Senior Mission.

Fellowship

The 37th year county and city wide fellowship is at 3 p.m., Sunday at Hadley CME Church. Minister Chavetta Carter, pastor of  Little Bethlehem of Cairo is the speaker. Dinner follows.
