New Covenant Church, 48 Patterson Still Spur E., Thomasville, is holding its annual Fall Festival from 6 to 8 p.m., Oct. 31. Admission is free. There will be booths, games, hayrides, giant slide food and more.


Family & Friends Church, 400 Colton Ave., is holding its annual Olde Fashion Day Celebration at 11 a.m., Sunday. The speaker is the Rev. Michael Burns. Lunch follows


On Sunday, Mt. Zion Baptist Church is celebrating its 148th anniversary and the 22nd anniversary of senior pastor, the Rev. Dr. Daniel Simmons.

The featured speaker is the Dr. G.V. Clark, pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Austin, Texas.


St. Luke CME Church is holding a giveaway from 6 a.m. until on Saturday.


The church ladies of Cairo First United Methodist Church will host a bazaar on Saturday, Oct. 19. The bazaar is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall, 318 S. Broad St., Cairo, Georgia.  All proceeds from the bazaar will go to support local and worldwide missions. 

Attendees will be able to select from arts and crafts, a white elephant sale, fresh produce, homemade jams and jellies, homemade breads, pies, cakes and other baked goods, frozen casseroles and books.  Guests can enjoy a soup/salad lunch in the café and take home quart jars of soup for later.


Cedar Hill M.B. Church is holding a men’s and women’s day at 11:30 a.m., Sunday. The speaker is the Rev. Gary Clark.


Springhill Christian Church is holding homecoming at 11 a.m., Sunday. The speaker is the Rev. Herschell Collins. Following the covered dish luncheon, Midnight Rain will be in concert.


First Born Methodist Church in Pelham is celebrating its anniversary Tuesday through Thursday at 7 p.m.


Providence Missionary Baptist Church is holding a pre-women’s day concert at 4 p.m., Sunday.


Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating its 128th anniversary Sunday. It begins with Sunday School at 10 a.m. followed by worship service at 11. The guest speaker is the Rev. Nathaniel Trumpet Jr.


Covenant Christian Center is holding Sunday services from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Sunday at Receptions for You

Rainbow Tea

Aucilla M.B. Church will celebrate a Rainbow Tea Program at 6 p.m. Saturday. Speakers will be church members.
