Church briefs May 30

Auction

New Growth Baptist Church, 3890 County Line Rd., is holding an auction at 10 a.m., Saturday with all proceeds going to the education building fund. There will be a concession stand also. Among the items for sale are glassware, furniture, tools, porcelain dolls, pictures, antiques, etc.

Workshop

Christ Harvest Alliance of Ministries is holding its monthly Leadership Workshop on Saturday at New Generation Christian Center. A continental breakfast begins at 9 a.m.  with the workshop from 9:30 to noon. Speakers are Pastor Jeffrey Dyson and Elder Zakiyyah Bell.

Springhill Missionary Baptist Church is holding Vacation Bible School 6 to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday. There will be classes for all ages.

Anniversary

New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Boston is celebrating its pastor’s anniversary. Churches in charge are Tuesday is Rosedale M.B. Church, Wednesday is Christ Tabernacle, Thursday is Crossroads Christian Center. Services begin at 7 p.m., Restoration Tabernacle will conclude the services at 2 p.m., June 8.

VBS

Providence Missionary Baptist Church Vacation Bible School is 5:30 to 7 p.m., Monday through May 6 for preschool through adult. The theme is “Discovering God’s Purpose for Me.”

Anniversary

Cedar Hill M.B. Church is celebrating its anniversary at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday through June 6. Churches in charge are on Wednesday, St. Luke M.B. Church, Thursday is Aucilla M.B. Church and Beulah M.B. Church on June 6.

VBS

New Jerusalem M.B. Church is holding Vacation Bible School Monday through June 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for pre-K through adult.

Revival

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church is holding revival at 7 p.m., Wednesday through June 6. The speaker is the Rev. Ananias Hopkins III.

Program

Daughter of Zion Bible Center Ministry, 312 S. Broad St., is presenting the 7ups at 6 p.m., Saturday.

Dedication

Godway Apostolic Faith International Ministries, 14538 U.S. Hwy. 19, Suite 2, is holding a grand opening and dedication at noon, Sunday.

Worship

Members of the Central High School class of 1984 will worship at Aucilla M.B. Church at 9:30 a.m., Sunday. Class member Pastor Lonnie Robinson Jr. is the speaker.
