July 4 church briefs


Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Meigs is holding revival at 7 p.m., Wednesday through July 11. Various churches are in charge and the speaker is the Apostle Izell Williams of New Direction Christian Church in Albany. The congregation welcomes the public and to come meet the new pastor, the Rev. Ryan Jenkins.

Special day

Saint John AME Church of Boston is holding family and friends day at 11 a.m., Sunday. The Rev. James D.S. Vance is the speaker.


New Hope Baptist Church in Boston is holding a summer revival at 7 p.m., Monday through Wednesday. The speaker is Pastor Anthony Robinson of Clifford Temple CME.


Kingdom Covenant Church is holding its seventh church anniversary celebration at 7 p.m., Monday through July 11 and at 11 a.m., July 12. There are various churches in charge. If you need a ride to one of the services, call 977-4033 or 228-5470.


Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Boston is holding revival. At 7:30 p.m., Monday and Tuesday is prayer meeting. At 7:30 p.m., Wednesday through July 11, Pastor Joe Troope of Riverhill Missionary Baptist Church of Valdosta is the speaker. Guest churches are Wednesday, Mt. Moriah, Thursday is Richland and July 11 is Riverhill.
