Rant & Rave for Nov. 24

— “Daniel Gaultney, let us not forget those words painted on the deck of that ship, ‘Mission accomplished,’ and the wars lingered on until Obama came into office. So before you criticize the small things, look at the big Bush disaster picture before throwing stones.”

“I've been remembering the day that President Kennedy got shot. The nation was in great sadness. Jackie Kennedy was so brave and strong. We came out of that tragedy, but these days — with people hating everybody — I wonder if we will survive it.”

“Why is the price of gas so high in Thomasville? It went up 10 cents in one day. It looks like nobody else's did.”

“Congratulations to the Thomasville Bulldogs. You represented yourselves, your school and your town well against the top team in the state. I can’t wait to see how much better you will do in the second year under coach Ryals and his staff. Y’all did a wonderful job.”

“I can’t believe football is over locally. I’m going to miss it.”

“Wow! Even liberal Sen. Al Franken is talking about delaying the Obamacare individual mandate. When he gets it, the rest of them can’t be far behind. We tried to tell you this law was not ready for prime time. It’s rollout has been an absolute disgrace and will forever be a blight on the Obama presidency.”

“The price of electricity hit a record high last month. Just wait until all those restrictive coal policies take place.”
