11:45 a.m. — The Southwestern State Hospital retirees and their spouse/friend meets at the Plaza. A representative of the Georgia State Retiree Association is to attend.

5:30 p.m. — Ochlocknee City Council meets at Ochlocknee City Hall.

Tuesday

10 a.m. — A newcomers orientation is in the board room at Thomasville National Bank. Come and meet new people, learn about places to visit, things to do, activities, etc. A short walking tour of downtown will be offered. For reservations, call 226-3300.

1 p.m. — The Fort Benning Valdosta/Thomasville/South Georgia Armed Forces Retiree Sub-Council meets at the Thomas County Public Library conference room. A representative is to discuss the Fort Benning Retiree Council and/or Moody AFB. All military retirees, spouses of military retirees and surviving dependents of military retirees can attend. The meeting is to include reports from Moody Air Force Base Post Exchange, commissary and hospital as well as reports from sub-council members. Individual complaints and compliments will be heard.
