Thomas County Central head football coach Bill Shaver instructs quarterback Keshad Peake during spring practice on Wednesday. It was the sixth day of workouts for Peake and his eighth-grade teammates and the first for the varsity players. Rising freshmen will conclude their spring work after four more practices. The varsity has nine more to go during Shaver’s first spring in charge of Central’s football program.
