Published May 09, 2008 09:30 pm - Central splits playoff doubleheader Thomas County split its state playoff doubleheader with Effingham County, losing the opener 12-11 before bouncing back for a 12-1 win in the nightcap. The two teams will finish the best-of-three series Saturday at 11 a.m.
