Published May 10, 2008 07:13 pm - Central/Cairo baseball update Thomas County Central defeated Effingham County 21-4 Saturday to advance to the second round of the Class AAAA playoffs against Woodward Academy. Cairo lost 7-0 to Burke County Saturday in the deciding game of its best-of-three series.
