YMCA to make summer meals available to children

The Thomasville YMCA will administer the Summer Food Service Program, beginning June 1 and ending July 24, with various sites set up throughout Thomas County.
Meals will be provided to all children up to age 18 without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the following locations: Barwick (Westside Park), Ochlocknee City Park, Boston Community Center, Pavo (Concerned Citizens Building), Boys & Girls Club, Providence Baptist Church, Butler-Mason YMCA, Thomasville Resource Center, Thomas County Central Middle School, Rivers of Life Church, Cherokee Apartments, Sanford Heights, Circle “C” Trailer Park, Scott Elementary School, N. Crawford City Park, Thomasville High School, Coolidge Pavilion, Twin Oaks, Harper Elementary School, Villa North Apartments, Faircloth Housing Authority, Camp Piney Woods, Neighborhood Center, Weston YMCA, Wood Valley Apartments, Douglas School, Meigs Community Center, Family & Friends Church, Wright Street Mini Market, St. Luke CME Church, Cross Creek Elementary School and Thomas County Central High School.
Lunch will be served at all sites except Scott Elementary School from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch at Scott Elementary School will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Breakfast will be served at Boys & Girls Club, Butler-Mason YMCA, Thomasville Resource Center, Scott Elementary School, Douglas School, Harper Elementary School, Thomasville High School, Cross Creek Elementary School and Weston YMCA from 8 a.m.-8:45 a.m. Breakfast will be served at Thomas County Central High School and Thomas County Central Middle School from 7:30 a.m.-8 a.m.
