Woman dies in car crash

Staff report

THOMASVILLE — A 41-year-old Thomas County woman was almost home when the vehicle she was driving left Bulloch Road.

Debbie Lou Adams, of Ochlocknee, was traveling north on Bulloch Road about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday when her Chevrolet S-10 traveled off the east side of the road.

Adams overcorrected and lost control of the pickup, said Luke Taylor, communication equipment officer at Thomasville Post 12 Georgia State Patrol.

The truck traveled back onto the highway and into the west ditch, where it overturned, Taylor said.

Adams, who was traveling alone, was about two miles from home when the wreck took place.

She died at the scene.
