Today

12:30 p.m. — Thomasville Kiwanis Club meets at the Plaza.

Saturday

10:30 a.m. — South Georgia Genealogical Society meets at the Thomas County Public Library. Dr. John Crowley, associate professor of history at Valdosta State University, is to present a program on genetic genealogy. Members and guests are encouraged to attend.

Monday

5:30 p.m. — Ochlocknee City Council meets at Ochlocknee City Hall.

7 p.m. — Pavo City Council meets at Pavo City Hall.

Tuesday

1 p.m. — Thomasville Exchange Club meets at the fairgrounds.

6 p.m. — The Thomasville Chapter of Overeaters Anonymous meets in the Guild Room at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. For information, call 226-0556 after 6 p.m. or leave a message or call 377-1109.

6:30 p.m. — The Thomasville Orchid Society meets at the home of Jimmy NeSmith on Dillon Road. The lesson this month will be Ask the Orchid Doctor. Members and guests may bring orchids that they cannot get to bloom or that they can't repot. To avoid cross- contamination, if disease is suspected please leave the orchid in your car to be checked outside. For information, call 227-5778.
