Flashing lights delayed

Staff report

THOMASVILLE — New traffic signals that were to enter the flashing mode today at the intersection of U.S. 19 North/Ga. 202/County Line Road will not flash as scheduled.

Lighting will begin flashing Friday, weather permitting, said Craig Solomon, Georgia Department of Transportation spokesman.

Power poles cannot be set by utility workers until Friday.

The lights will become fully operational on Thursday, Sept. 3, weather permitting.
