THOMASVILLE — Today

10 a.m. — Golden K Kiwanis Club meets at Dawson Street Baptist Church.

12:15 p.m. — The Thomasville Rotary Club meets at the Plaza.

Friday

12:30 p.m. — Thomasville Kiwanis Club meets at the Plaza Restaurant.

Saturday

9 a.m. to noon — Southern Pines Senior Living Community is holding a free symposium on living with Alzheimer’s disease. The keynote speaker is Department Chair of Geriatrics Florida State University College of Medicine Dr. Ken Brummel-Smith. Adult day care will be available. To RSVP, call 226-6074.

10 a.m. — Thomas County Central High School class of 1993 is holding it 20-year class reunion on Oct. 26.  Dues are $30 for singles and $50 for couples. Dues include Saturday picnic at Cherokee Lake, (bring the kids) and dinner and dancing at The Plaza Saturday evening starting at 7. All parents of classmates who have passed are invited to attend the picnic as we will be remembering those who we have lost.

Monday

11 a.m. — The Dementia Family Caregiver Support Group meets for its annual brunch at Plantation Manor. The speaker is Lillian Finn, director of Plantation Manor. For information, call Betty Sawyer at 227-0880.

6:30 p.m. — The Thomasville Shrine Club is holding its regular monthly meeting at the Shrine Club building on U.S. 19 South. A covered dish dinner follows fellowship at 7. All members should attend and bring prospective members and guests. A program is planned. Thomasville Shrine Club is a member of Hasan Shrine Center in Albany.

Tuesday

6 p.m. — Overeaters Anonymous meets at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in the Guild Room. There are no dues or fees and is open to men and women. For information, call 226-0556 or 377-4995.

6 p.m. — The Southwest Georgia Retiree Sub-Council of the Fort Benning Retiree Council meets at the Thomas County Public Library.  All retired military are invited to attend.
