Second Harvest grand opening Wednesday

THOMASVILLE — Wednesday will mark the next step in the fight against hunger in south Georgia with the grand opening of Second Harvest’s newest facility in Thomasville. The commemoration will begin at 10 a.m. at 120 Roseway Drive.

This event is the culmination of years of planning and hard work in the fight against hunger in south Georgia. The new 65,000 square foot facility will enable Second Harvest to feed more children, help more people and rescue millions more pounds of usable food. The community is welcome to attend the festivities that will conclude with an open house and refreshments.
