Reception to honor Twink Monahan

THOMASVILLE — Twink Monahan, Thomas County Commission clerk, will be honored at a Thursday reception.

Monahan was named the Georgia County Clerk’s Association 2014 Clerk of the Year. The award was presented Friday at the 100th annual meeting of the Association County Commissioners of Georgia in Savannah.

The Thursday reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the historic Thomas County Courthouse on North Broad Street.

County commissioners will honor Monahan during a brief ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
