Georgia State Patrol seeking toy donations

THOMASVILLE — The Georgia State Patrol is conducting the annual United States Marine Corp Reserve Toys-For-Tots program.

GSP officials are asking the community to donate a new unwrapped toy so that a needy child will have a gift to open Christmas morning. Toys may be donated at:

· Georgia State Patrol Post on the Bypass.

· Seminole Wind Restaurant on US Hwy 19.

· Big Lots Department Store at the corner of East Jackson and Pinetree Boulevard

· Walmart

· Dr. Tom Sexton’s office at 415 E. Jackson St.

· YMCA on Remington Avenue

 The toys will be picked up Dec 10.

GSP will be conducting a Child Safety Seat Check/Toys-For-Tots Drive from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. on Dec. 3 in the parking lot  of Big Lots Department Store and again from 4 p.m.-6 p.m., Dec. 9 at Chick-Fil-A.

Parents can have their child safety seat checked to ensure it is properly installed and drop off a toy at the same time.
