Sex offender sought by sheriff’s office

THOMASVILLE — Thomas County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating a convicted sex offender.

Officers are looking for Antwain D. Dickey, who is wanted for failing to notify the sheriff’s office that he has moved, said Capt. Steven Jones, sheriff’s office public information officer.

The Georgia Sex Offender Registration Law requires that when a sex offender moves, the individual must notify the sheriff’s office.

Dickey, who was convicted of statutory rape in 2007, is 5-foot-6 and weighs 180 pounds.

Anyone knowing Dickey’s whereabouts should call the sheriff’s office at (229) 225-3300 or (229) 225-4151.

His last known address was 1012 N. Stevens St. in Thomasville.
