Young Life banquet approaching

THOMASVILLE — The annual Young Life banquet is a few days away. This year’s theme is a fun super-hero theme: “In the Action with Kids!”  To Young Life, super heroes are simply mild-mannered citizens performing extraordinary feats — reaching out to high school and middle school kids, caring for leaders, praying for the ministry, supporting financially, and so much more.

The event is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at First United ethodist Church Fellowship Hall. Stories of how Young Life is reaching the children of the community will be shared.

If you are interested in attending, call the Young Life Building at 227-0303.
