POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Joe Namath, legendary quarterback for the New York Jets, Super Bowl MVP Champ and Hall of Famer, and Thomasville (Ga.) native Julie Moran, seven-year Entertainment Tonight host, the first female anchor to join “ABC’s Wide World of Sports” and host of the daily morning show “The Balancing Act®,” have teamed up to co-host the “BIG GAME SPECIAL” on the Balancing Act on Friday at 7 a.m. (ET/PT) airing on Lifetime® Television.

The Balancing Act’s “BIG GAME SPECIAL,” which will air again on Friday, Jan. 31, rallies around the biggest nationally anticipated day in sports and will offer viewers football fun facts, easy fan favorite recipes sure to score big with guests, and a Game Day Playbook to help viewers create a winning game day celebration that will have family and friends cheering.

"Super Bowl Sunday is absolutely one of my favorite days of the year. Joe is the ultimate team player, and I think we have really scored some amazing ideas for throwing the ultimate party," said Moran.

Namath and Moran keep the ball moving during the packed half-hour segment that showcases three of America’s favorite brands, all making a play to take center field for viewer’s Game Day menu.

Ventura Foods dips into the Big Game Day by showing how to add bold flavor to party favorites from appetizers to desserts.

John Soules Foods cooks up easy-to-make Tex-Mex football fare, and the Namath Rapid Cooker™ by EdenPURE sizzles by quickly grilling up hamburgers, steaks, chicken, hot dogs and pizza for hungry fans.

Now in its six year, The Balancing Act® continues to empower women in all aspects of their lives. The mission at The Balancing Act is simple — the show strives to help today’s modern woman balance it all by bringing them exceptional solutions to everyday problems.

Viewers can tune in to America’s premier morning show The Balancing Act on weekday mornings at 7 a.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime television.
