THOMASVILLE — At the recent annual meeting and kickoff for the Thomasville Entertainment Foundation’s star-studded 75th concert season anniversary celebration, TEF President Ken Rebman welcomed new and returning board members of the all-volunteer organization.

“Our 75th season features a broad spectrum of musical genres and world-class artists,” Rebman told the trustees and guests at TEF’s recent annual meeting.

To celebrate the milestone anniversary, TEF will present two very special concerts in the 1,200-seat Municipal Auditorium:

On Sept. 20, The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra returns to TEF’s program line-up for the eighth time. Led by guest conductor Timothy Myers, the ASO’s program will feature Beethoven’s exhilarating seventh symphony along with festive works by Mozart, Saint-Saens and Ravel.

On March 7, 2013, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy—called “America’s Favorite Little Big Band”—will fill the hall with a high-spirited mix of jazz, swing, Dixieland and big band music.

The Municipal Auditorium will provide a larger stage for the concerts and allow TEF to accommodate a much larger audience for the two performances at that venue.
