Carter: No money for Falcons stadium

THOMASVILLE — The question of whether Georgia taxpayers will fund a new Atlanta stadium is no longer a matter at hand, according to a state House member, who spoke Monday in Thomasville.

“The state of Georgia is not going to be involved in that Dome issue anymore,” said Amy Carter, District 175 House member.

Carter, R-Valdosta, made the statement at a meeting of the Thomas County Republican Party.

She said the decision has not been announced at the state level.
