Lounge opens

THOMASVILLE — Thomas University students and veterans (from left) Stanley McBride, Hiram Collins, Jessica McPhee and Ronald Fann settle into the new Veterans’ Lounge that opened Monday on TU’s Main Campus. Located in the Music Building, the organizers hope the lounge will be a place to make TU’s veterans who are now students feel more at home. TU currently has more than 150 students who are also military veterans. The lounge features a comfortable seating area perfect for veterans to fellowship, study, watch a movie, have coffee or chat. The lounge is also equipped with computers and Internet service.
