Meth lab busted

THOMASVILLE — Searching property at 4690 McMillan Road, lawmen found a working meth lab in a shed near a residence.

A clean-up crew from Adel responded and removed the lab.

A sample of lab contents has been will be sent to the state crime lab.

James William Butler III, 31, who lives at the residence, is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Other charges are pending the outcome of lab results.

“We’re also looking into who is involved with him,” said Kevin Lee, commander of the Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division.
