Earns PGA qualifications

THOMASVILLE — Dean Tennille, Mississippi State University student and 2009 graduate of Thomasville High School, recently completed Level 3 Checkpoint to finish all qualifications to be elected to Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA) Membership. Pictured with Dean (left) is Jeffery Adkerson, PGA director of Professional Golf Management at Mississippi State University (MSU), the second-oldest such program in the country sanctioned by the PGA. Through the four-and-a-half year, year-round curriculum, Dean will receive a bachelor's degree in marketing from MSU's College of Business in December and 16 months of practical work experience through completed PGA internships.
