Flowers' Smith retires after 40 years of service

THOMASVILLE — Flowers Baking Co. of Thomasville recently recognized the retirement of Wanda Smith after her 40 years of service. 

Smith joined Flowers Baking Company in 1972 as an office administrator and held several administrative positions during her career.  She was the receptionist at the time of her retirement.

“Forty years of service shows just how loyal and committed she was to Flowers Baking Company; we will miss her and the customer service excellence she brought to our organization every day.  She was the voice of our Bakery and represented us with professionalism and hospitality to our customers and visitors” noted Mickey Miller, bakery president. “We wish her an enjoyable retirement and thank her for all the years of service she gave to our company, she will be greatly missed.”
