Notaro to leave Brookwood at end of school year

Staff report

THOMASVILLE — After nearly seven years as Brookwood School’s headmaster, Mike Notaro has given his resignation and will leave the independent college-preparatory school at the end of the 2012-13 school year.

Brookwood’s Board of Directors Chairman Bill Hodges said that, under Notaro’s administration, Brookwood has continued its long-standing trend of growth. Enrollment has remained at an all-time high, with approximately 500 students currently enrolled. The campus has progressed to include a new Upper School building, Crozer Hall, which features innovative classrooms, advanced technology, and sophisticated science labs. All campus classrooms now have interactive SMART Boards.
