LaJuan Lanier McIntyre



Services for LaJuan Lanier McIntyre, 37, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., May 10, 2008, at St. James Primitive Baptist Church. The Rev. Joseph Andrew, the Rev. Randall Bass and the Rev. W.G. Bass will officiate and interment is in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Mr. McIntyre died May 5 at his residence. Born July 25, 1970, in Thomasville, he was a son of Doris White and the late Roosevelt McIntyre. He was married to Mary Pearl McCastle. He was a 1988 graduate of Thomasville High School and attended M.S. Carrier for truck driving. He was a laborer, welder and truck driver. He was a member of New Beulah P.B. Church. Survivors include his mother, Doris White of Thomasville; daughters, Whitney Smith of Savannah, Shamiah McIntyre, Skylar McIntyre both of Albany; son, LaJuan L. McIntyre Jr. of Albany; granddaughter, Ra’Shjah McIntyre of Albany; sisters, Chrischenda Phelps of Albany, Patricia Robinson of Thomasville; brother-in-law, Joseph Robinson of Thomasville; sisters, Deidra King of Buford, June Leaks, Helen Myrick both of Jacksonville, N.C., LaJuanna Walker of Dothan, Ala., LaShaundra White of Thomasville; ex-wife, Patricia Dawson of Albany; aunts, Bettye Chew, Thelma Duncan all of Detroit, Mich., Mary Eva Brown of Thomasville; uncles, Billy Bass, Robert Bass both of Thomasville, Warren G. Bass of Macon, Elijah McIntyre, Peter McIntyre, Paul McIntyre all of Thomasville, Earnest McIntyre (Evalina) of Miami, Fla.; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends;. The viewing is from 2 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the church. The family will assemble at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at 407 N.
