Ashley Scott Davis



Services for Ashley Scott Davis, 31, of Macon, were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter and the Rev. Larry Gandy officiated and interment was in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Joel Singletary, Jeremiah Johnson, Taft Singletary, Jason Willis, Micah Willis and Andrew Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are members of Tift County EMS. Mr. Davis died May 22 in Lake City, Fla. Born Feb. 2, 1978, in Colquitt County, Ga., he was a son of Bobby Davis and wife, Shirley of Moultrie and Eva Lucille Davis and husband, Dr. Chris Davis of Eastman. He was of the Baptist faith, a registered nurse and a paramedic in Warner Robins. Survivors include grandparents, Billy and Joyann Thompson of Moultrie, Joyce Davis of Moultrie, Ollie Manion of Panama City Beach, Fla.; brothers, Brian Davis and wife, Miranda of Moultrie, Daniel Davis of New York, John Davis of Macon; sisters, Jolie Vargas and husband, Paulo of Moultrie, Jayna Summerlin and husband, Keith of Moultrie, Christie Bailey and husband, Mic of Atlanta; uncles and aunts, Buddy and Tina Davis of Dothan, Ala., Cynthia Reed, Ann Singletary, Darlene Lebley and husband, Eugene, Delane Thompson and wife, Belinda, Marshall Thompson and wife, Donna, Melanie Johnson all of Moultrie; 19 cousins of Moultrie; one cousin, Amy Davis Wheelan of Dothan; nieces and nephews, Kason and Kylie Davis, Autumn Bayya and Rayland Demott, Gabby Vargas and John Davis Summerlin all of Moultrie. He was preceded in death by a grandparent, G.W. Davis. Family and friends are at 123 Bull Creek Rd. in Moultrie and 1521 Sardis Church Rd. in Moultrie. — Baker Funeral Home
