Services for Elaine Louise Roberts, 63, of Thomasville are at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Wendell Hollingsworth, the hospice chaplain will officiate. Mrs. Roberts died August 22, at her residence. She was born May 27, 1945. She was married for 30 years to Willard Roberts, who survives. She was a professional secretary the majority of her life and was a dedicated wife and mother. Her work with the Lord was the most important thing in her life. She loved music and loved to witness to all. Her family and friends will miss her greatly. Other survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Andy Wright of Thomasville, Sharon and Chris Bear of Kempton, Penn.; step-daughters, Bonnie and Kelly; stepson Willard Roberts Jr. all of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Maria McGray of Thomasville, Amanda Block of Cairo, Stephanie Block of Reading, Penn., Marisa Thompkins of Thomasville, Jessica Bear of Kempton, Penn., Rebecca Bear of Kempton, Penn.; great-grandchildren, Hailey Sadler of Cairo, Alicia Fleming, Jessica Kame, Skeet Smith, Amber Staples, Josh Staples, Greg Roberts all of Oklahoma, Destin and Damien of Thomasville; brother, Steve Leno of Florida; sister-in-law, Blanche Benfield of Pearl, Penn.; brother-in-law, Raymond Roberts of Bally, Penn.; cousins, Bill Reigle of Jerry Hill, N.J. and Mark Reigle of Colorado.
