Graveside services for Marjorie Lee Brinson of Thomasville are at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Mississippi Street. John Brinson Jr. will officiate. Miss Brinson died June 7 at Triad Health of Georgia. Born Aug. 31, 1933, in Thomas County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Arthur Lewis Brinson and Blanche Lewis Brinson. She was a member of Ochlocknee Church of God. Survivors include a sister, Sarah Meredith (Johnny) of Bainbridge; sisters-in-law, Laverne Brinson, Laura Brinson both of Thomasville; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., today at the funeral home. — Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
