Nadine Taylor

THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Nadine Taylor was born February 17, 1940, to the parents of the late Mr. Joseph Worthy, Sr. and Mrs. Ida Bell Worthy of Pelham, Georgia.  She received he education in the Pelham School System.  At an early age she was a member of Sinner Friend Baptist Church, Colquitt County for the most part of her life and recently joined Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Meigs, GA.  She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Willie Taylor which survives in Brownsville, Tennessee.  On December 31, 2013 God saw the need to call Nadine to rest.  She leaves to cherish in loving memories:  one son Willie Taylor; three daughters LaTasha Taylor, Denise (Emmitt) Clark, and Topreka (Heith) Ward, all of Pelham, Georgia; three sisters Josephine (Jimmy) Rawls, Ochlocknee, Georgia, Dorothy (Willie Charles, Sr.) Wimes, Annie Lee Worthy, Meigs, Georgia; one brother Rev. David (Sandra) Worthy, Cairo, Georgia;  six grandchildren Taneisha Taylor, Jirah Spencer, Christopher Shine, Rontavious Ward, Hannah Ward and Patrice Daniels; six great-grandchildren; one aunt Mrs. Willie Bell Brown, Moultrie, Georgia; special nieces, Bobbie Frazier, Lisa Richardson, and Cherida Reese; a special nephew, SFC. Willie Charles Wimes, Jr.; god-daughter, Rose Almond; god-son, Rongi Pace and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many business associates, adopted family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, 1950 John Collins Rd., Pelham, GA.   Rev. Mikael Lovejoy, Pastor, Rev. Tony Brown, officiating.  Burial will follow at the Meigs Sunset Cemetery.  Family and friends are asked to assemble at 1:00 p.m. at 385 Hill St., Pelham for the processional.  Viewing will be held at the funeral home 1:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014.  The body will lie instate at the church the day of the service from 10:00 a.m until the funeral hour. —  Hadley’s Funeral Home
