Elizabeth Anne Brock

THOMASVILLE — Services for Elizabeth Anne Brock, 61, are at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home Chapel, with a brother, Dr. John Brooks officiating. Ms. Brock died Saturday, November 16, 2013. A lifelong resident of Leon County, Florida, Ms. Brock was born in Tampa on January 26, 1952 the daughter of the late Wilson Eugene Brooks and Marion Guy Colvin. An employee of Centel of Tallahassee for 23 years and of Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic for 10 years, Ms. Brock was a graduate of James A. Rickards High School in Tallahassee. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Wodaski. She is survived in death by sisters, Penny Hadsel, Fresno, CA, and Jean Brinson, Thomasville, GA, brothers, John Brooks, Desoto, TX, Randy Brooks, Panama City, and Tim Brooks, St. Hedwig, TX. Special recognition of friends; Chuck and Suzanne Flores, Joni Saunders, Sara Boggs, Kay Godwin, Fran Walker and Dave Hunter. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Hope Lodge Center in Tampa, FL, Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, FL or Hospice of Southwest Georgia in Thomasville, GA. - Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
