Sarah Frances Repass


THOMASVILLE — Sarah Frances Repass passed away Monday, November 18th, 2013 in Pavo, Georgia.  Sarah was born July 6, 1919  in Columbus, Georgia to Edgar Howell Hart and Roselia (Bryant) Hart. They moved from Columbus to Pavo where her daddy owned and operated Hart's Grocery Store.  Sarah attended and graduated from Pavo High School.  She then moved to Tampa, Florida and worked at the PX at Drew Field. There she met Ralph Repass and was married August 27, 1942. They moved to Gate City, Virginia where they had one son David Allen, who now lives in Pavo.  Her first husband Ralph Repass passed away June 10, 1976. Sarah married Clarence Cannon January 8th, 1982, Clarence passed away December 1, 1992.  Sarah is the oldest member in attendance at Antioch Baptist Church in Pavo, Georgia.  Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Lebanon Cemetery in Pavo, Georgia.  Brother Kelvin Spierlock will officiate the service.  Survivors include a son David Allen Repass; a brother, Charles Eugene Hart; a  sister, Shirley B. Wiggins and a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest GA, 808 Gordon Ave. Thomasville, GA 31792 —  Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
