Joseph Allison Curles Jr.

Services for Joseph Allison Curles Jr., 50, of Camilla will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Jamerson Funeral Home Chapel in Pelham.  Rev. Robert Watson will be officiating services with interment to follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Alan Davis, Lee Glenn, Chuck Curles, Robert Watson, Jr., Tim Poitevint, Bill Muggridge, and Daryl Mercer.  Mr. Curles was born on May 6, 1962 in West Palm Beach, FL to Mr. Joseph Allison Curles, Sr. and Ms. Edrice Mobley Daughtry.  He was a member of Lake Pleasant Baptist Church and worked as a maintenance repairman during his life.  Mr. Curles departed this life on Sunday, July 8, 2012 in Tallahassee, FL.  Survivors to cherish his memory include his daughter Lexie Curles of Douglas; mother Edrice Daughtry (Raiford) of Camilla; father Joe Curles, Sr. (Rita) of Camilla; sister Denise Watson (Robert) of Camilla; brother Chuck (Grace) Curles of Ochlocknee; step brother Billy Sullivan of Kennesaw; step sister Kim Sullivan of Albany; sister-in-law Rita Curles of Meigs; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother Maston Curles.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
