Hubert Daniel ‘Danny’ Sutton Jr.

— Graveside services for Hubert Daniel “Danny” Sutton Jr., 61, Pavo, Brooks County, are at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Adon Harper officiating. Mr. Sutton died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at his residence. Of the Baptist faith, he was born March 19, 1952, in Pavo, Thomas County, a son of the late Hubert Daniel Sutton Sr. and Mildred Jolly Sutton. A farmer and U.S. Navy veteran, he was married to Sylvia Diana Welch Sutton, of Pavo, who survives. Other survivors are sons, Michael Sutton, Metcalf, Josh Sutton and wife, Jessica, Pavo, Matthew Sutton and wife, Latisha, Pavo; and sisters, Thelma Sutton Allen and husband, Wayne, Phoenix, Ariz., Leila Sutton Reed, and husband, Tommy, Huntsville, Ala., Julie Sutton Long, Phoenix, Kay Sutton Vinson, and husband, Joe, Madison, Ala.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Trey Sutton. Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. today, Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Baker Funeral Home. — Baker Funeral Home, Moultrie
