Keith Lamar Ivey

On November 13, 2013,  Jesus called for Keith Lamar Ivey at the age of 39, to join him in the Kingdom of God. Keith passed away at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. He was survived by his  wife, Cynara Davis-Ivey and two sons Aaron Lamar Ivey and Elijah Lamar Ivey. Keith attended the Thomasville City School System. Keith also received Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was baptized at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.  Keith  leaves to cherish his loving memories to his father Farris Monroe,

mother Muriel Ivey, and sister Sonya Simmons. Children: Keith, Jonquel, Jakwane, Kemareon, Kyra, Madison, and Ke’Ondria. Keith’s siblings also include; Aries Monroe, Kandi Monroe, Bridgette Monroe, and Sherica Monroe.  Nieces; Kiara, Tamietra, JaNiyah, and Dekierra, and nephew Demetrius. Two devoted aunts; Dianne Wyche (Alonzo) and Mary Jean Ivey. Three uncles; Larry Ivey, Horace Ivey (Jennifer) and Ricky Ivey (Diane). In-laws, Larry and Carolyn Davis. He also leaves a host of loving cousins and friends. Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents Lillie Mae Ivey and R. C.

Ivey and great grandmother Mrs. Lillie Mae Roan affectionately known as “Grand”.

Services will be at 12 noon., Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 at  House Of Joy (Rose City Pentecostal), 6057 Highway 319 S, Thomasville, Georgia 31792, where the Pastor Verbertha Tillis will be  officiating.  Interment will follow in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Public viewing will be today from 12-8 at Hopkins Mortuary. Family and friends will be meeting at 11 am, at 601 Martin Luther King Street. — Hopkins Mortuary
