Shadno Vall Jr.

THOMASVILLE — Graveside services for Shadno Vall Jr. are at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Peaceful Rest Cemetery. The Rev. Mary Coston will deliver the words of comfort. Mr. Vall died March 23. He was the son of Shadno Vall Sr. and Lula Mae Bowdry in Thomas County. He graduated from Thomasville High School in 1982 and was in the Omega Phi Beta fraternity and the Chess Club. He went on to attend and graduate from Thomas Technical Institute as a brick mason. His passion in life was fishing and helping people. He accepted Christ in 1985 and joined Miracle Temple Church. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his father, Shadno Vall Sr. of Thomasville; sister, Jennie Gail Vall (Richard) of Thomasville, Monronica Vall of Thomasville and Columbus; a son, Shadno Vall III; nephews, Reginald Semons Vall, Antonio Quadale Vall, Phillip Adrian Vall-Adams; a niece, Alexis Raven Vall of Thomasville and Columbus; aunts, Charlotte Wilson of Boston, the Rev. Mary Coston of Thomasville and Newton, Alice Faye Jones of Stockbridge, Rosa Lee Vall-Johnson (Odell) of Thomasville; uncles, Larry Young, Tom Bowdry (Emma) both of Thomasville; great-nieces, Quadeisha Vall, Nyesha Maxwell both of Thomasville; cousins, Denise Bowdry (Chris) of Thomasville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Mae Bowdry Vall; his siter, Lanette Vall; grandmother, Lucille Bowdry Wilson; grandfather, Charlie Young Sr; and an uncle, Charlie Young Jr. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 1 p.m., at 714 Alexander St., Thomasville for the processional. The viewing is from 1 to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home. — Hadley’s Funeral Home
