Margery Sue Crocker Timmons

— Services for Margery Sue Crocker Timmons, 90, will be at Cedar Hills Baptist Church, 4200 Jammes Road in Jacksonville, Fla., on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Thomasville, Ga., on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at 11 a.m. Timmons was born on June 3, 1923, in Thomasville. Miami, Fla., became her come at age one, where she lived until 1959. That same year she married her husband, Joel W. Timmons, Sr. Her husband was in the Navy and they lived in several places before coming to Jacksonville, Fla., in 1964. Timmons has been a member of Cedar Hills Baptist Church since moving to Jacksonville. She passed away on December 24, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, he late Joel W. Timmons, Sr. Survivors include her son, Joel W. Timmons, Jr., and her step-daughter-in-law, Julie Timmons of Eureka, Ca., and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial gift be made to Cedar Hills Baptist Church. — Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 5753 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, Fla.
