Thenia W. Mobley

THOMASVILLE — Services for Thenia W. Mobley, 81, are at 11 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2014, at Wilson Chapel Baptist Church of Cairo. Mrs. Mobley died Friday, May 9 at Archbold Hospital. Born Nov. 13, 1932, in Thomas County, Ga., she lived nearly all her life in Cairo, Grady County, Ga. She worked at Dean Foods, formerly Roddenbery Peanut and Syrup plant, in Cairo for more than 30 years before retirement. She was a member of Wilson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church since a young girl and served as a member of the Sunday School, Missionary Department and church secretary. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Davis of Thomasville, Anita Johnson of Bainbridge, Tosha Mobley of Atlanta; a son, Danny Mobley; sisters, Irene Hughes of Macon, Willie Pearl Mayo of Pelham; and brothers, Lee Williams of Florida and Roy Williams of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruby Lee Mobley; daughter, Ava Bryant; son, Robert Mobley; brother, Mac Curtis Flowers; sisters, Dollie Mae Lawson and Alice Ree Jones. — Williford Funeral Home
