Willie James Tucker

THOMASVILLE — Services for Willie James Tucker, 79, of Cairo, are at 11 a.m., Saturday,  May 17, 2014, at Full Gospel Church of Deliverance in Cairo. Kennetha Anderson, pastor, Minister Frank Tucker, Pastor Ralph Harris officiating and interment is in Crestview Cemetery. Pallbearers are his nephews. Mr. Tucker died May 13 at his residence. Born in Grady County, Ga., he was the son of the late Arthur and Pauline Tucker. He was married to Maggie Mae Herring. Survivors include daughters, Nadine Waye (Robert) of Brunswick, Eloise Johnson (Kenneth) of Whigham; son, Roy Lee Tucker of Whigham; daughters, Christine Brinson (Nathaniel) of Cairo, Katrine Tucker of Whigham, Willie Jean Paytee (Mark) of Whigham, Bernadine Peterson (Dan) of Thomasville; sister, Laura Jordan of Hawthorne, Fla.; sister-in-law, Elma Tucker of Pine Park; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. — Weston’s Funeral Home
