Wiley ‘Julian’ Holland Jr.

— Wiley “Julian” Holland Jr., 74, of Alexandria, Va., passed away June 9, 2014, following a lengthy illness. Born Dec. 30, 1939, in Thomasville, Ga., Julian was a son of Wiley Julian Holland Sr. and Carol Cannon Holland. For most of his adult life, Julian lived in Northern Virginia with his beloved wife, Wini, who passed away in 1994. He loved and enjoyed many things, including his family, genealogy, Wake Forest University, Thomas County, Georgia Historical Society and the Washington Redskins. Honoring Mr. Holland’s request, his remains were cremated. Survivors include four daughters, Karen Holland Lerner, Alexandria, Va.; Julie Holland Larson, Dunkirk, Md.; Deanna Holland Flynn, Lumberton, N.C.; Pamela Holland Fruth, Fredericksburg, Va.; son, Wiley David Holland, of Alexandria, Va.; 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. — Northern Virginia Burial and Cremation Society
