Crispin Dean McDowell

THOMASVILLE — Funeral services for Crispin Dean McDowell of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home.  Ricky McDowell and Dennis McDowell will officiate services with interment to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.  Trey Taylor Jason Boling, Robert Johns, Glenn McDowell, LeDon Clark and Larry Scarborough.  Mr. McDowell was born on September 27, 1947 in Gadsen Co., FL to the late Amos Dean Thelma Rudd Dean.  On July 1, 1961 she wed Mr. Bill McDowell in Bainbridge and during her life she worked as a Homemaker.  Mr. McDowell was of the Baptist Faith and she departed this life on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at her home.  Survivors to cherish her memory include her husband Bill McDowell of Thomasville; daughters Angela McDowell Carter of Ochlocknee, Teresa McDowell Vick (Greg) of Pavo and Missy Odom of Barwick; grandchildren Nick Beckham (Areka), Lee Childs, Amber Mill (Brian), Brooke Carter and Bryce Carter all of Thomasville; 8 great-grandchildren; brother Louis Dean (Judy) of Moultrie; niece and nephew Louis Dean and Cassie Hembree.  He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, E.D.
