Dorothy Franklin Thompson

THOMASVILLE —

Funeral Service for Dorothy Franklin Thompson will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 5,2013 at St. Luke C.M.E. Church, 134 Chatham Drive.  Pastor Quin Choice, Eulogist.  Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Thompson was born April 11, 1942 to the late Otis and Josie Franklin.  Dot was a homemaker and lived in Thomasville, GA.  She leaves to cherish her memory: Husband, Elmer Thompson, Thomasville, GA. One son, Darryl Duncan (Bessie), Havana, FL. One daughter, Vickie Thompson, Thomasville, GA.  Sisters, Alma Franklin Boddie and Christine Daniels (Joseph), both of Atlanta, GA.  Brother, Curtis Franklin (Joann), Thomasville, GA.  Six grandchildren, Chresheika, Shabreka, Tannisha, Darryl II, Tanecia, and Dymond. One great grandchild, Khaleb.

Sister-in-law, Ethelene Franklin and Brother-in-law, Willie Carr.  Special cousin and fishing buddy, Ella Mae Williams. Special Goddaughter, Evelyn Francis. Also, a host of other relatives and friends.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Carr and brother, Bobby Franklin.  Public viewing will be today in the chapel of Hopkins Mortuary from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. Line up for family and friends will be at 10:15 a.m. from 537 W.Calhoun Street, Thomasville GA. — Hopkins Mortuary
